Paul has been interested in photography for as long as he can remember. From the time he laid hands on his first fully manual camera and spent time developing prints in the darkroom, he was hooked. Although a Southern California native, Paul attended the University of Michigan where he continued his study of photography, and began working for The Michigan Daily News. As a newspaper photographer, Paul learned the skills of photojournalism, always being ready to catch a split-second shot on assignment. Shooting his first wedding as a favor for a friend, Paul was entranced by the magic of the day and the intimacy of sharing in the couple's union. Paul knew almost immediately that he wanted to focus his photography on weddings and engagements, and the rest, as they say, is history.
